Who We Are

Anglers Edge Marine has been opened since 2004. Troy & his wife Michelle have grown up around boating & commercial fishing. Boats are not unfamiliar territory for them. As a teenager Troy grew up working on boats in his Dads boat shop in Atlantic Beach, Florida until the year 2000. After deciding to move from Jacksonville to be near family in Madison they seen a need for boat repair & opened their own place. Being from the beaches of Jacksonville Florida he had an opportunity to work on a large variety of boats from outboards,i/o's & diesels. The years of experience & taking pride in his work is what makes him a good boat mechanic. These days it is hard to find those qualities in people. He loves boats & everything about them. They have worked hard to build a good reputation in a small town since opening up in 2004. Their customers now drive from all over for custom repairs, Mercury Outboard repowering, Everglades Boats warranty/refitting, and Optimus Joystick.

Our Story

We are a full marine boat repair service center serving Madison county Florida, Valdosta Georgia & many surrounding counties. Currently, we are an Authorized Mercury Platinum Dealer & Service Center. We do lots of Mercury repowers up to quad applications. Our shop is not limited to just working on Mercury motors though. Also specialize in Yamaha outboards. We are certified & up to date on computer diagnostics. Some products we are a dealer for are Optimus 360 Joystick, Sharkshield, Simrad electronics,JL Audio, Top Shelf Shimano rod/reels, Quick Stabilizer, Lindgren-Pitman, Rhodan & Power poles to name a few. Anglers Edge Marine also is an Everglades Boats Authorized warranty service repair & refit shop. We offer a mobile service to our customers at the Carrabelle Boat Club in Carrabelle, Florida.
